He quirked an eyebrow at her but continued following her lead quietly.
The closer he got to the jungle, the more enveloped by darkness he felt, which tightened the grip on his gun. His heart felt like it might beat out of his chest and his mind raced through different scenarios. But no matter how grim his imagining, he wasn't allowing himself to die tonight. He has way too much left to do.
"You sure this is a good idea?" He asked, unable to mask his discomfort.
