The Tleilaxu laughed mockingly. "You have no power over me, slimy powindah!" And tossed himself directly on lying Laila like a facehugger would. The blade hidden on his torso sprang on contact and dug just enough into the woman's flesh to release deadly poison. The Tleilaxu then rolled to the side, making a barricade from Laila against the incoming shot... and turned on Laila's shield, locking them both in it.

The stab only grazed the Tleilaxu from the uncomfortable position of him still clawed into her side.

"Iiiiiih!" The Tleilaxu shrieked, climbed up to Laila's head and tried to hop over onto Kiran to dig its long fingernails in them. He miscalculated the distance and failed to claw in, rolling onto the floor of the tunnel instead.

Kitan didn't want to move away from Laila, but killing this guy was more important. They backed up and fired again, this time with the correct dice pool.

They only winged him, but it was enough to put him a little more on the back foot.

The grey little man tried hard to land a scratch on Kiran with his long sharp fingernails, what betrayed there was yet another speciality such a scratch would inflict. With Kiran's cover fire, he couldn't find the opening. But impasse worked in his favour, so he kept grinning audaciously with his needle teeth.
