• Aligned to the Atreides, their allies, or unaligned
• Local or relatively low-profile in the Imperium
• Discerned by Atreides authorities as competent to operate in hostile jungle environment

Possible character inspirations:

• Members of the Lanville House Minor or other local community leaders
• Active or retired Atreides soldiers
• Agents of Thufir Hawat, Atreides top spymaster
• Offworld professionals with security experience
• Muadh
• Hardy pilots or adventurous entrepreneurs
• Vengeance-seekers who have lost someone to ailar
• Survivalists or other jungle specialists, including scientists
• Desperate job-seekers hardened by their prior walk of life
