“You shouldn’t keep us all waiting too long.” He said with a playful tone. “That’s a lot of people queuing up at the same time.”

He then smiled, “Exploring and swimming, huh? Well… I’m sure we can arrange a bit of that. The Southern Continent is nothing but a place to explore.”

Efren smiled, putting the image of his cousin's face in the cave out of his mind as mention of their spelunking adventure came up.

"Imagine all we could find if we had more than just a day or two." He replied.

"We seemed close in age. Thought it might have been the same year. But it looks like I am your elder."

They chuckled. "Just a little! Bunch of us teenagers out here, trying to do our best," they said, turning and sitting on whatever was handy. "I think the Duke to be is of a similar age."

“It’s like 500,000 minutes. That’s nothing to sneeze at. I should be careful about sneezing though. I could throw out my back.” He said with a smile.

“The young lord is a few years younger than us. He’s just… advanced for his age.”

"Okay, grandpa. Do I need to call someone to help you back to your room so you don't get confused?" they joked with a grin. "Huh, interesting. I guess it makes sense. He's probably had the living hell tutored out of him."

“Or tutored into him.” He said with a tone that was half-joke, half-attempt to sympathize with the young man.

Efren then smiled, “Well I am glad that we were able to talk. I am truly sorry for what you were forced to endure…”

He closed his eyes and nodded his head in a gesture of apology.

“I should get back and check on someone in the infirmary still.”

He smiled one last time, “I look forward to our next meeting.”
