The town itself circles the villa of the Lanvilles, part-castle part-hacienda, and their orchard estates. Technological necessities like thopter pads, shield generator and other defences are away from public view. The outer line of households is usually along one winding quasi-circular street, the geometry broken by the hilly landscape. Many of them belong to the local gardeners, whose respective rows of apple trees reach further outward in slices, or like petals. Thus, from bird's eye view, Cidrit Town looks like a daisy, with the Lanville estates being the yellow core.

Flowers are everpresent. Every household takes care of their share of flowerpots on streets and balconies. Household doors usually bear some trademarks or logos indicating what is the family's purpose and business and their decorativeness is spurred by local rivalries. Tart, fruity smells are hard to escape from.

For the festival, a piece of Lanville grounds between the villa and the town that usually serves as an amphiteatre or local agora has been converted for the festive grounds, peppered with stalls of produce, pastries, barbecue and beverages as well as a bit of local handicraft. Amid them, clearings are devoted to bonfires, drinking contests and singing. There's a track for uphill barrel-rolling contest.
