Re: Day 4 | Afternoon | The Debriefing

Razar considers the the implications and dangers of the mission at hand. But this most recent mission had shaken his confidence. If he had the same estimate of Sinsei that Ambrose had, without having seen Paul handle her with a softer approach, he might feel better about his own decisions and perfor...

Re: Day 4 | Afternoon | The Debriefing

It was certainly surprising news to Razar, but he didn't show it. This was part of the issue of trying to keep up with a mentat. You simply can't if you aren't one, so it's no use worrying about being surprised when they reveal truths you don't know... you'd be surprised all day. It always felt like...

Re: Day 4 | Afternoon | The Debriefing

Razar accepted the information gathered and shared. He tried to process it and said finally, "So is Atreides going to cite their attacks and formally respond with a declared War of Assassins to make it more difficult for them to use their resources freely and bring in eager players?"

Re: Day 4 | Afternoon | The Debriefing

Razar payed close attention to the wording and verbiage used by Thufir, but couldn't glean anything other than the simple facts presented outside of his existing understanding. He was still waiting for the other shoe to drop. It sounded like this was as much an experimental mission as much as an act...

Re: Day 4 | Afternoon | The Debriefing

Razar had been recovered from his crash landing after evading the dangers of the cartel and jungle just barely. He looked a bit scratched up and worse for wear, with an ever so slight limp from land on his ankle poorly, but was otherwise in good health. He made his way into the room and moved to sta...

Re: Day 3 | Evening | Boom & Bust

[Group #2] Getting one hostile in the air out of the picture was all Razar needed to make a decisive move. Thanks to Paul's initial fiery recon he had a rough idea where to hit. Re: Day 3 | Evening | Boom & Bust

Razar assessed the situation tactically; while Paul and Ambrose were doing their job, he couldn't immediately capitalise on it just by dropping down. They would recognise his intent and focus fire on him. His job was to look like the least impactful target for enemy thopters and defences until it wo...

Re: Day 3 | Afternoon | High-Level Talks

Having heard Paul's voice over the radio, Razar gave an additional response in the battle tongue. It was a description of the rally point of a village around lakes in the mountains surrounding clear blue waters that were likely previously a cavern. He waited on any questions about the precise locat...

Re: Dance on a Needle [Morning 3]

Razar moved back to the thopter and left the macabre rally point, somewhat unpleasantly hoping to return in the future. But having found it means that they can actually take care of the dead with dignity, and they will know to look for evidence of other such massacres in the future to do so for thos...

Re: Dance on a Needle [Morning 3]

He takes note of what he can and his location to share with the other Muadh and his team. He gives a search to See if he can locate anything out of the ordinary what happened here. A massacre of peaceful villagers that didn't fight back was horrific and out of the ordinary by itself, But not for the...

Re: Dance on a Needle [Morning 3]

He looks for signs of battle among the corpses and ruins, expecting to see the telltale signs of violence. It's possible that they died from disease or illness... but exceedingly unlikely.

Such features also potentially provide cover, but also, if it was inhabited once, it may still be inhabited, or people may have left things behind. He decides to get an even closer look and searches for a spot to land near the collapsed and damaged huts.

Re: Dance on a Needle [Morning 3]

Having tested the ground to his satisfaction, he found the location to fit their needs as a rally point, he takes off and tests the radio, getting static. He takes a bit of time to inspect the shoreline of the sunken cavern for dangers and problems.

Re: Dance on a Needle [Morning 3]

A lake with a shore and sparse vegetation was likely to have the space they would need, but also be pretty open, providing less cover. Benefits and drawbacks. He decided that taking a closer look with a flyby would be the best move.

Re: Dance on a Needle [Morning 3]

Razar kept an eye open for a good spot, as well as watching for any opposition thopters, defenses or observation posts out here. He couldn't imagine that they didn't have anything of the sort as an early warning system. He didn't seem to find either thing he was keeping his eyes open for. D1, Dance ...

Re: Dance on a Needle [Morning 3]

He decides to keep on with the original search for now, waiting until he found some useful flat ground instead of hunting through canyons for a space big enough for multiple thopters and a camp. If it is taking too long he may revisit the idea later.
